Meditation and gratitude

Hello Internet Explorers!

I discovered a great FREE app goodie today that I want to share with you. Whether you are new to meditation or have been at it for years, Stop, Breathe & Think can help you enhance your practice. I just gave it a trial run, and I love the different features it includes, such as a check in, emotion selection, and recommended meditations (ranging in length to suit each individual’s needs).

I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone even remotely interested in meditation. If you aren’t sure what the benefits of meditation are, you can read about them here.

Today is day three of ten of the #ishineyoushine challenge. We were asked what makes us strong. Here’s what I posted:

Resilience looks different for everyone. For me it has been a process being willing to reevaluate myself and make the necessary changes to grow as a person: adaptation, flexibility. Letting go of bad habits, cultivating new.

I’ve also been fortunate enough to have a network of people in my life that I can count on to be there in tough times. And I’ve been lucky enough to show up for them too… it’s an incredible honor and responsibility to be called upon by a friend in a hard time.

I am so grateful for relationships, new and old, that contribute to my personal growth.

I’m also grateful for the Stop, Breath & Think app.

What are you grateful for today?
